Oct 19, 2002 · John,a JD 48 loader will handle 1000 lb. rd. bales.Brackets for 4020 and 2940 are not the same.4020 brkts. bolt to side frames and 2940 should have tubes to bolt under rear axles plus bolting to side frames.I think you can bolt either mtng. brkts. on 3020.You will probably have to shorten them with a torch because 3020 is shorter frame.I had to shorten brkts on 158 …
